Training Objectives

​

  1. Will be able to describe how DBT has been adapted for the different eating disorders. 

  2. Will be able to describe which DBT treatment (standard DBT, DBT for emotional eating, RO DBT or DBT for complex/co-morbid patients) is appropriate for which individuals.  

  3. Will be able to describe eating disorder and suicidal behaviors in the context of DBT Targets. 

  4. Will be able to describe how DBT would address therapy interfering behaviors that are specific to ED and DBT clients.

  5. Will be able to list interventions that are specific to the assessment and treatment of eating disorder behavior.
