CBT and DBT Training

BCCNJ offers trainings to clinicians and organizations who are looking to either learn or fine tune their understanding of cognitive behavioral therapies (CBT).  CBT is a well researched form of therapy that has been shown to be helpful with children, teenagers, and adults. CBT is an evidence based intervention that helps people learn to manage many different types of problems such anxiety, depression, OCD, PTSD, ODD, and phobias.

We have provided trainings regarding integrating CBT in to treatment in the school setting as well in hospital and community based settings.  Our staff have also provided trainings specific to using CBT to effectively treat anxiety, PTSD, depression, behavioral parenting, setting limits with young children, and childhood behavior disorders.  We have provided trainings on mindfulness, multicultural CBT, and diagnosing and treating eating disorders. We have also provided trainings regarding incorporating DBT in to school settings.
