Jennelle (Scheffler) Sutherland is a graduate of Rutgers University holding Master's Degrees in Social Work, Elementary, and Special Education. Jennelle worked as an elementary school teacher for nine years before shifting her child-centered career away from the academic curriculum and onto children’s and adolescent's mental health. She utilizes evidence-based therapeutic methods, such as CBT, when creating individualized treatment plans. Jennelle emphasizes a strength-based approach to psychotherapy while addressing a multitude of challenges including, but not limited to, anxiety, depression, social skill deficits, emotional regulation, and issues related to school performance. Jennelle values a team approach to treatment and building a strong therapeutic relationship.
