Dr. Taylor Schnaper
Taylor Schnaper, Psy.D. has experience working with children of all ages with emotional and behavioral difficulties, including: mood disorders, anxiety, trauma, family conflict, anger, school problems, social skills deficits, and disruptive behaviors. Dr. Schnaper has received training in several evidence-based treatment approaches, including, cognitive behavioral therapy, behavioral activation, motivational interviewing, trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy, and acceptance and commitment therapy. Furthermore, she has experience working with youth and families utilizing various treatment modalities, including, individual therapy, family therapy, group therapy, and parenting.

Dr. Schnaper received her B.S. in psychology from Towson University, and her masters and doctorate in School and Clinical Psychology from Kean University. She completed her pre-doctoral internship at the Youth Services Department in Palm Beach County, Florida, where she worked with youth and families in both a residential and outpatient facility. Dr. Schnaper has conducted research in the field of childhood maltreatment and trauma, particularly looking at protective factors that promote resiliency.
