Dr. Annan’s goal is to empower his clients to manifest their most balanced, purposeful, and values-oriented selves. As a clinical psychologist licensed in New Jersey, New York, and Georgia, he has 20 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and adults who are experiencing emotional and psychological difficulties such as anxiety, depression, mood dysregulation, trauma, grief and loss, family and interpersonal conflict, school-related problems, and oppositional and disruptive behaviors. Dr. Annan creates a trusting, safe, empathetic, and supportive therapeutic relationship where clients of all backgrounds can work through and address their emotional, behavioral, and social challenges.
Dr. Annan specializes in evidence-based approaches such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Client-centered psychotherapy. In addition to being a generalist clinician, he also specializes in working with young adults, adolescents, and parents with young children.
Dr. Annan is also a lecturer, trainer, and writer on topics related to mental health and well-being, and his book “In My Feelings, A Teen Guide to Discovering What You Feel So You Can Decide What to Do” was recently published.
